Support by McIntyre Ranching Co. Ltd. has been extended to the Lethbridge Symphony Association for many years. In this particular case it came in the form of playing host to two fund raising events held at the Ranch. Guests at the first event in August of 1998 enjoyed performances by the Lethbridge Symphony, the Coulee Fiddlers, Tom Dooley and the Children of Lir, Southern Flyer, Dale Ketcheson and Erin Thrall. The August 2000 program included the Lethbridge Symphony, the Coulee Fiddlers, Dale Ketcheson, Erin Thrall, Morgan Day and Trevor Panczak. All 1000 who attended each event seemed to thoroughly enjoy themselves during the two-hour long program and the steak BBQ feast that followed. Master of Ceremonies, Ralph Thrall Jr., thanked the weather for co-operating during both outdoor affairs.

Thanks to the efforts of Minda Rogerson and Jim Day of the Symphony Association and Brian Wichers of Sven Ericksen’s Family Restaurant (and of course many others too numerous to mention), both functions proved very successful as they raised approximately $30,000 for the Symphony on each occasion.
